Features of the Higher Education for the Circular Economy: The Case of Italy

The higher education system plays a critical role in supporting the transition towards circular economy (CE). It helps create business leaders and policymakers having appropriate skills, competences, consciousness referring to CE challenges. Nevertheless, few studies have specifically investigated how is addressing CE, current academic offering integrating principles, which skills competences are currently provided. This paper overcomes these limitations by investigating of for Italy. We analyze programs, courses, modules at different levels 49 Italian universities and, means detailed classification learning outcomes, provide clear picture knowledge, offered education. finally discuss implications our findings concerning development jobs.
